We didn't miss a beat this week, other than the fact we didn't do a Double Shot. We just got right into the music and let the music speak for itself! Props to anyone who checked out J. Vancouver's own MC collective, Elekwent Folk, also joined us in our return to the airwaves tonight. They are taking their local Vantastic event on the road and over the water to Victoria this time around, so if you're one of the many Hip-Hop addicts over on Vancouver Island, make sure you come out and show your love! Moka Only, Panther, Headspace, The Elekwent Folk and more will be taking the stage on Tuesday, December 7th at Lucky Bar in Victoria. Also, we must pay our respects to a fallen Canadian comedy legend, Leslie Nielsen, who passed away from Pneumonia on November 28th, 2010. Hs street credibility was also through the roof, as he made movies with OJ Simpson. He went peacefully, in his sleep.
