Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 PODCAST -- Inauguration day!

Big day on Tuesday!

Obviously, Barack Obama's inauguration is the biggest news in a LONG time and will continue to be so for generations to come. Huge congrats go out to Obama, and let's hope the progress keeps on rolling!

It was also a pretty big day for the Urban Renewal Project! We were joined by Pusha T from The Clipse, who did a show yesterday (the 21st) at Richard's on Richards. In addition, we also had good interviews with Chicago MC, Soulstice, who was in attendance for the inauguration, as well as Cool Nutz and The Lifesavas, who are repping Portland, Oregon.

Download the podcast HERE and take a listen! Music from The Clipse, Blaq Poet, The Lifesavas, Q-Tip, Biggie Smalls, Kuruption Camp, and more! And another brand new exclusive track from Mr. Lif called "Obama"!

2008 is over! Make sure you download the last podcast of the year! Best of 2008!

We started off with a double shot from Brockway Biggs' new compilation, 2009 Brockway Ent Canadian Rap Future Superstars. Hot Canadian material, don't sleep. We were also joined by our good friend, Mr. Lif. He gave us a rundown of his highlights of 2008, as well as what he's up to in 2009.

We ran down our highlights of 2008, so you can expect nothing but the best tracks of the year. This was a good year for Hip-Hop, maybe not from the mainstream point of view, but if you were looking out for the real, you weren't dissapointed. Check us out and download the podcast at !

Happy New Year!
