URP Tuesdays -- DJ D-Sharp interview and more

We got it in this week, featuring another solid release from Duck Down Records. "Live From The Tape Deck" is a collaborative album courtesy of producer !llmind and Skyzoo. Skyzoo, !llmind and Duck Down Records are all favourites of the Urban Renewal Project so it's really no surprise that we chose to feature this album over others that were released today. We weren't disappointed by any means, enjoying the disc that boasts features from Styles P, Buckshot, Sean Price, Torae and more. Check this out if you're a fan of Duck Down's catalogue, and good music in general!




After burning up the airwaves for a little bit, we got into a telephone interview with DJ D-Sharp, who was calling from and representing the Hip-Hop hotbed that is Oakland, California. Once playing the background and cutting and producing for other artists, Sharp has come to the forefront and currently has a nice EP ("Definition Of A Star") available now and it is definitely worth checking out.
